About Misty Bement
I began my Massage Therapy career in 2008, working with Doctors of Chiropractic and in spas; however, my goal was always to establish and work with my own clientele. I believe in the power of positive touch and am blessed to have found my passion. Treating people through massage therapy has been very rewarding. It has allowed me to make a difference in the lives of others. Through continuing education and years of experience, my hands have learned to listen and my work has evolved. I am dedicated to creating a private, professional and friendly environment for my clients. A place where they can feel at ease and safe when receiving treatment.
I have transitioned to incorporating sculptural face lifting massage and gua sha techniques fully into my business. Since the start of my career in 2008, I have incorporated these amazing techniques and tools. I have truly found a passion and looking forward to introducing everyone to these amazing techniques. That are for me, rooted in my Asian Culture. As these techniques and courses continue to gain popularity, I promise that I will continue to find trainings with those who align with my beliefs and to only bring the best for all those who come into my business, via treatment room and online.
As someone who has a love of learning and being a massage therapist for many years, I have to take many hours of continuing education to stay current with my license. In all my years I have never copied a protocol and claimed it was mine or my invention. When learning new things, you do exactly that, you learn. But then you grow and adapt. Moves intertwine with each other like a beautiful dance. And with many years and hours of trainings, I do have my own personal protocol that I love and am incredibly proud of, and I can not wait to share it with others.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TRADITIONAL MASSAGE APPOINTMENT.
I highly recommend Leslie, she operates inside Truly Serene and she is my massage therapist. If you call me, she is who I am referring massage sessions to.
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006. I have an Associate's degree in Massage Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Health and Wellness. I have always been interested in health and wellness but was not exposed to it much as a child. It is strongly becoming a passion of mine, not only personally but also professionally. My career goals include furthering my education by obtaining my Master's in Nutrition, becoming certified in Personal Training and Aromatherapy. I strongly believe in the power of positive therapeutic touch and the body's natural ability to heal itself. True health and wellness includes being healthy in all aspects of the human experience: physically, mentally, and spiritually.
